A satisfying mix of a tired old free-standing cottage, combined
with a new second floor addition.
Given the width of the block the master bedroom and the living
space were going to compete for the view.
The solution: both get the view by using large sliding panels
to obscure the bedroom when entertaining. The panels slide into
the wall to enable the lazy person in us all to watch boats sail
past on the harbour while in bed.
