This development at Bay 9 will be a selection of chic, self-contained work pods, shared offices and conference rooms all spanning three levels. On the ground floor there will be

A Freudian idyl or just a place to put your spades?
Theres a lot to be said for sheds, they are a sort of Freudian idyl, a place where work goes on, a rereat, a place to store and stash things that can remain hidden for years, like the Sydney Olympic Rings which sold recently on Ebay. There are mini castles, hobbit houses and 50s Diners, gothic turretted sheds, and of course the wonderful movement of The Mens Shed Association in Australia. We like it when Brenchley Architects is named as an exemplary example of sustainability, and we like it more when it comes from Councils who work with that aim high on their agenda. Architizer made our week in more ways than one this week!
Yesterday two boxes arrived in the office, on unwrapping them we found large golden boxes, like big golden ingots, that upon opening bore two Awards, that needed to be constructed.... without instructions!
