We like it when Brenchley Architects is named as an exemplary example of sustainability, and we like it more when it comes from Councils who work with that aim high on their agenda. While the park Street Property may be loved from his television appearances in The Block in 2014, she has been lauded in New York winning a best sustainable building at The Architizer awards, and now she is taking pride of place on the Bess website, which promotes sustainable design

While kicking back and enjoying his summer break, principal Architect at Brenchley Architects, Julian Brenchley, set about putting his newly learnt skills in bee keeping into practice. Creating an apiary and an eco system that supports the native environment along with building sustainable long term comunities on a macro and micro level, is what this practice is all about, so he took his young son withhim! Its a bit like lego for Architects!
The excitement level at Brenchley Architects this week, is super high, as we have been working on a project that is aking to lego for grown ups! The sketch pictured is for a proposed commercial fitoutin an existing high bay warehouse using shipping containers, stacked and transversing in to walkways and voids that create a useable, and ultimately low impact and removable space.

So we have been working on a project here at Brenchley Arhitects. Julian likes to fit a lot into a day, and while qualifying for the MBA Cert IV in Construction in Building and Construction earlier in the year, shoring up his personal experience with a qualification, that will allow Brenchley Architects have their own Constrction Company, known and RED DUCK CONSTRUCTIONS.
